Learning a foreign language has great advantage for B. Tech students. This will enhance communication skills, cultural awareness, adaptability, and global competencies. The present generation engineers are more likely to collaborate with global teams of people, clients, researchers and organisations than ever before. It is better to learn a foreign language than it is to not learn one, as it enhances cognitive skills like problem solving, memory and critical thinking and develops confidence and social skills. Hence, learning foreign languages becomes a valuable asset to the engineering students, enhances their technical skills and makes them a more versatile, globally competent and job-ready engineers.
